CONSUMER HEALTH DATA PRIVACY POLICY
This page is for people who live in Washington or Nevada. It covers the part of what Pungent Ltd ("we") holds that those states' laws call consumer health data: information that identifies you and is about your physical or mental health. Our full Privacy Policy is at kgbbabushka.com/privacy/.
What health data we collect, and why
KGB Babushka is an educational game. We don't ask for health information. But Babushka, the app's AI companion, is someone people talk to, and some of what they tell her is about their health. So we may hold:
- What you tell Babushka about your health, in your conversation with her, and in a photo you show her (deleted as soon as she has answered). We use it only to talk with you.
- Babushka's notes about you that touch on your health. She asks before she keeps a note about your health, your body or your sex life. We use them only so she remembers you.
- Your Notebook notes, if you write about your health in them and say "Let her" (her reading is off until you do, and only after you have said yes to her). We use them only so she can bring up what you wrote.
- What you tell the Council (the app's panel of AI historical figures), if your problem is about your health. We use it only to answer you.
- A safety record, if our automatic check on Babushka's chat sees signs that you may be in danger: that it fired, the kind of concern, and when. We use it to keep the crisis protocol working and, from July 2027, for the yearly count California law requires, with no names.
All of this is for adults only: the AI helpers are closed to anyone under 18.
Where it comes from
From you, when you write or speak to Babushka or the Council, or write in your Notebook; from Babushka's own notes, which she writes from what you tell her; and from our automatic safety check.
Consent
Nothing reaches Babushka or the Council until you say yes on that room's card, and Babushka's card asks for your agreement to her reading and remembering what you tell her about your health. You can take it back at any time: Settings → Privacy & account → What Babushka may know.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We don't sell consumer health data, and we don't share it with any third party or affiliate. It is handled for us, only on our instructions and under a data-processing contract, by the companies that run the service: xAI (Babushka's replies and safety checks), OpenAI (the Council), Supabase (our database) and Cloudflare (delivery of the app and our website). None of them may use it for themselves or train AI on it. No third party collects consumer health data through our app or our website.
Your rights, and how to use them
- See it, and the list of anyone it was shared with (there is no one): Settings → Privacy & account → Your file, Settings → Babushka → The dossier, Settings → Privacy & account → Download my data, or email us.
- Correct it: correct a note in the dossier (your correction wins), or email us.
- Delete it: delete one note, all her notes or the whole conversation in Settings → Babushka, or your whole account in Settings → Privacy & account → Delete account, or email us.
- Withdraw your consent: turn off Babushka or the Council in Settings → Privacy & account → What Babushka may know.
- Appeal if we refuse a request: email us with "Appeal" in the subject.
Email info@kgbbabushka.com. Because your account is anonymous, we may ask you to send the account code shown at the bottom of Settings, so that we act on the right account. We answer within 45 days, and if we need more time, we tell you why. It's free, and you won't be treated worse for asking.
Changes
We put each new version on this page, with its date, and tell you in the app before a bigger change applies. Pungent Ltd, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom.
